Jeff + Jennifer ~ "La Venta Love"

I often think how crazy it is that whenever we choose a date for an event months or even years in advance, we never know the kind of weather we are going to get. It could be freezing cold, dumping rain, or blazing hot. You just never know. Rain was actually in the forecast for Jeff and Jennifer's wedding day, but the clouds parted and Jeff and Jennifer were left with deep blue skies at a perfect venue with a perfect backdrop which made for some stunning scenes!! Once again we had a great time working with the staff at La Venta in Palos Verdes. We also got to shoot along side with John and Max Mill Photography. John and Max looked very familiar to me and we finally figured out that we shot a wedding together like 4 years ago. Crazy!! Also, we got to enjoy the incredible live music of Kenyatta and the Baby Dolls. ROCKING!!! I am still so amazed that people don't budget for a wedding video. Even it's a cheap-o, cheesy video, hey at least it's captured.

Dan + Kristin ~ Grass Rollin' / Country Lovin'

Dan and Kristin... The Grass Rolling, Country Singing, Family loving couple.. These guys are SOOOO in love.. I really enjoy seeing couples that really enjoy each other. There is so much meaning and so much depth to marriages like Dan and Kristen.. You got to make it to the end of this video and see them roll down the grass hill. Classic. We were also able to incorporate the video that was taken when Dan poped the question.. It's a little grainy, but its soooo cool! Dan and Kristin had an awesome reception at the Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach. We we were taking some shots out on the 10th tee, and almost got hit by some golfers. Pretty awesome!! Aaron from A Night To Remember DJ's was their rocking the house. Aaron and I work together a lot.

Same Day Edit "A Blue Bird"

Our First Same Day Edit of 2009 couldn't have gone any better. Rancho Palos Verdes was the setting for Troy and Monica's wedding. It was a beautiful "Blue Bird" day. (That's Troy's definition of a sunny day with beautiful deep blue skies). It was actually forecast to rain last Saturday, but God parted the skies for this wonderful couple!! These guys are sooo in love.. You can check out their "Love story here". 

Their Ceremony was at the beautiful Neighborhood Church in Palos Verdes, California. We also had the privilege to shoot for our first time with Jose Zakany photography. We had a great time working together. Troy and Monica's reception was up on the hill at the Norris Pavilion. I have never seen this place look so nice. This website does it no justice at all!

Congrats Troy and Monica. I hope you guys are having an awesome honeymoon. Thanks for letting us be part of your Amazing Day!!!

What a beautiful baby boy!! We were so privileged to have had the opportunity to capture the birth of Tristan Alexander Sword on film. Mom and dad were so gracious to let us share the intimate space of a delivery room with them. What an amazing experience it was for Impressive Creations to be there to capture these precious moments on film. Incredible!!

Being that this video was shot a few months ago, it's quite ironic that this video opens up with Tristan's big sister was singing "Jingle Bells". Perfect for the Christmas season!!!

Destination Nicaragua ~ Frank and Scarleth Intro

Here is a little intro piece from a Destination Wedding my beautiful wife (and assistant) and I got to film in Nicaragua. What a beautiful place it is! It was really quite an adventure. After our long plane ride, we had a 3 1/2 hour drive (mostly on dirt roads) just to get to the Resort Location called Piedras Y Olas. It overlooked the most awesome emerald blue Bay. I actually got some really fun surfing in on this trip too. The water was 80 degrees!! Nice.. We had a great time hanging out and getting to know Frank and Scarleth, enjoying their spectacular wedding and having pool side Pina Coloada's!! Photos and a video snippet is below. We got to shoot this exotic wedding with their good friend and photographer, Marcos Serpas.

We had the opportunity to film this wedding at The Regis Beach Resort in Laguna Niguel. We shot along side Orange County wedding photographer Bob Ortiz. Him and his assistant were super cool and they were very helpful throughout the day. Thanks guys. Then it was off to their reception at Seven Degrees in Laguna Beach. Got to work with Alyssa. She was great! What a cool artsy place. They even had like 50 little tiny TV that was showing our Same Day Edit all over the place. Very cool..

Adam and Kim.. The Kissing Couple. The Monday Wedding.

WOW!! These guys just couldn't stop kissing!! These guys are so cool. They had their wedding on a Monday in memory of Kims father who passed away exactly one year ago on that Monday. We then had the opportunity to film their reception the following Saturday in Santa Barbara.

I am so excited about this video. I used to love Metallica and this song I found was perfect for their wedding trailer. Got to film this wedding with our Friend Mimi the photographer.

Jessica's Bridal Elegance Video

This Bridal Elegance Video was shot 4 months after her wedding. It was so funny, people were coming up to her saying congratulations, yet she got married months before. It was also a Wednesday afternoon in San Pedro. We had a great time and Jessica did a wonderful job.

This is a worry free shoot. No Photographers, No Stress, No guests, No mess. It's just you, the Camera and me. Jessica sure did enjoy it and I hope you do too!!

Hey All,

Merry Christmas everyone! Well, it's a few days after actually, but I wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and an outrageous New Year!! Some good friends of mine just got married on the 22nd and are now off to their new home in Hawaii. It was a simple wedding and wanted to give them a little going away present... Here is an edgy, effect full highlights video. It's always great to use some upbeat music and fun effects to enhance the romance!!!!

Here is a little trailer from Danny and Michelle's wedding. WOW!! These guys didn't hold back at all. We actually displayed this video during their reception. My assistant and I got this done for a viewing during dinner. Be sure to watch the whole thing... There wasn't a dry eye in the house... Danny and Michelle now have this trailer on their new iPod touch, courtesy of Impressive Creations....
